8/128 Castern Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably early C19 with later alterations. Coursed limestone
rubble with hammer dressed ashlar quoins and ashlar dressings; clay tile
roof, ashlar ridge, and integral end stack. T-shaped plan; main 3 room
range with rear extension housing staircase. 2 storeys and gable lit
attic; 3 mullioned windows containing casements, all of 2 lights except
ground floor centre of 3 lights; those to ground floor have plain mullions;
those to first floor have chamfered surrounds, double leaved half glazed
door to right of centre with flat hood.
