5/32 Basford Bridge over River Churnet

GV II

Road bridge. Late C18 or early C19. Red sandstone ashlar. 3 elliptical
arches divided by piers and pontoons below impost level; heavy roll
moulding at carriageway level; low parapets virtually horizontal over
span. Form part of an intimate landscape setting with the station
(q.v.) to the east.
