Milepost. Probably early C20. Cast iron. Triangular plan. Inclined head set approximately 700mm above ground level, inscribed: "IPSTONES", and on left side: "IPSTONES 1/ONECOTE 5/LEEK 7 3/4/WARSLOW 8 1/4/LONGNER 12 1/2/ BUXTON 18 1/2", and on right: "FROGHALL 1/CHEADLE 4".
