- Entrance gate, piers
and churchyard walls
to east side of
Church of St Werburgh


Churchyard gate piers, gates and walls. Circa 1820. Stone piers have
inset pointed panels, pyramidal cappings, scrolled wrought iron over-
throw, cast iron gates with spearhead rails and dog rails; walls (of
ashlar quality stone) have chamfered coping, formerly railed - a few
short spearhead railings remain against piers.
