Piers and railings. 1830-1 by James Trubshaw. Wrought iron and stone.
Railings form a convex arc (almost a semicircle) around lodge (qv) to
left and a quadrant to right of driveway; plain rails with decorative
panels set at approximately 3m centres; these have a motif (like a two-
bladed propeller) of curves; the piers are (6 in all) set at extremes and
flanking pedestrian and carriage entries reeded and with domed cappings.
Forms part of the approach to Heath House (qv). Included for group value.
