Banktop Farmhouse


Barn. Late C18 with mid-C19 alterations and additions. Red brick and
random coursed rough faced stonework; tiled roofs; verge parapets.
L-shaped plan, the larger limb in brick and the smaller in stone;
hay lofts over cow sheds and cart shed; south face with one hay loft
door over entrances (widened to right) and segmental arch. Full height
cart entry; projecting wing to right (of stone) with hay loft opening
to gable end.
