stable and garden gate and
- II

Farmhouse, stable, gate and railings. C18. Coursed rubble with
ashlar quoins and dressings; plain tile roof; brick integral end
stacks. Aligned north-west/south-east facing south-west; 2-cell
plan. Stable attached to the north-west. House to right, stable
to left. House: 2 storeys and gable-lit attic with cyma reversa
moulded eaves band; 2 bays, chamfer mullioned windows, those to the
right have 3 lights, those to the left 2 lights; central door with
chamfered surround. C20 extension set back to the right. Stable:
originally one storey, the stonework bonded with that of the house,
a second storey was raised in brick probably in the late C19; about
3 bays, partly obscured to the left by a C20 building (not of interest);
stable type door to the right, central ground-floor casement, square
loft opening to right of centre. Wrought iron gate and railings
enclose a small garden in front of the house, spears and occasional
urn finials.
