Ornamental garden building : Chinese shelter. 1848-1860, by John
Bateman. Painted timber boarding on timber frame. Single-cell shelter;
crested ridge and upturned eaves of Chinese style; cusped arched
opening. Painted blue, red and white. Forms part of Chinese Garden
perambulation. Semi-derelict at time of resurvey (September 1984).
