Chapel of Ease. 1863, by Ward & Ford. Coursed stone; blue machine
tile roof; banded and patterned crested ridge; verge parapets. Neo-
Norman style of west porch, nave, chancel, vestry and north transept.
Nave: of 5 bays divided by pilaster buttresses on roll-moulded plinth;
round-arch single-light windows set in slight recesses, corbelled over
to eaves band. West end with gabled belfry over rose window, 2 small
round-arched windows with corbelled imposts to sides and gabled central
porch with round-arch entry and roll-moulded intrados to imposts.
Lower apsidal Chancel of 3 windows similar to above and with pseudo-
machiolated eaves. Vestry: gabled single storey and of one bay.
Transept: lower than nave and of one bay.
