8/94 Newhouse Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C17 or early C18, with mid-C19 additions. Cut, squared
and dressed rubble of ashlar quality; tiled roof; brick end stack to
left and ridge stack to right of centre. Lobby-entry plan. 2 storeys.
4-window front. Mullion windows of 2 and 3 lights, arranged regularly
(3:2:3:2), raised string at first floor level and small projecting gabled
porch to right of centre; lean-to attached to right. Interior: heck
screen and firehood to house place visible from exterior, but stack which
must have served it has now gone.
