3 blocks of early - mid c19 grey gault brick houses some now painted.
3 storeys. 6, 6 and 4 window ranges, double-hung sashes with glazing
bars in plain reveals, with stucco cornice lintels on brackets. The parts
of the houses containing the doorways and one window range above break
forward slightly and a stucco cornice runs between the first and second
storeys. The houses are divided by pilasters. The doorways to Nos
31-35 (odd) have stucco pilasters frieze and cornice. Nos 37 and
39 have Ionic porches with fluted columns and Nos 41 and 43 (Carlton
Hotel) has C20 doorways. Roofs slate.

Nos 25 to 89 (odd) form a group with Nos 32 to 84 (even) and Nos 90 and 92.
