Probably a C17 timber-framed and plastered house refronted and altered in
the C18 and partly demolished and altered in the C20. The house fronting
Foundation Street is now incorporated in No 32 Lower Brook Street, a 2 storey
wing extends to the north east. 2 storeys and attics. The upper storey
was originally jettied but is now under built in brick (painted). 4 window
range (originally 6) double-hung sashes with glazing bars, the first storey
windows have flushed cased frames and the ground storey windows have plain
reveals. The wing has a 6-panel door with a wood doorcase with shouldered
architrave, frieze and pediment. Roof tiled, C20, with a fine carved modillion
eaves cornice and 2 C20 flat headed dormers.
