Limestone monument to General Sir James Affleck,Bt., of Dalham
Hall (d.1833). Obelisk on square pedestal with moulded cornice
and plinth; about 5 metres high. An inscription is carved on the
south face. Surrounded by an area of limestone paving slabs; the
kerb, which formerly had iron railings set into it, runs from the
south-west corner of the tower to the south-west corner of the
south aisle of St. Mary's Church.
