House. Early C16 with mid C19 alterations. 3-cell lobby
entrance plan, 2 storeys. Timber-framed and rendered on brick
plinth, the upper floor long-wall jettied to the south. Hipped
slated roof, rebuilt C19, with axial chimney of red brick. Mid
C19 casements, mainly of 2 lights. 1-storey C19 entrance porch
with gabled slated roof and C20 glazed door. A substantial house
with good quality timber framing, now largely concealed. The
main 1st flour beams have double ogee mouldings and carved leaf
stops of early C16 type. Massive C16 or C17 axial chimney.
