House. C17 with alterations and extension of early C19. One-
and-a-half storeys and attics. 3-cell cross-passage entrance
plan. Timber-framed and rendered. Plaintiled roof with
plaintiled gabled dormer and axial chimney of red brick. Early
C19 small-pane sash windows with architraves. 4-panelled
entrance door partly glazed, with flat canopy on carved brackets.
The rear wing facing Chippenham Road added early C19. The hall
and parlour heated by back-to-back open fireplaces. Clasped
purlin roof.
