Public House. C18 with C19 alterations. 3 windows; 2 storeys
and attics. Painted brick with string course at 1st floor and
parapet gable. Plaintiled roof with flat lead-roofed dormers;
gable and axial chimneys of red brick. Sash windows with
segmental heads and C20 replacement small-pane sashes; a splayed
1-storey bay with flat lead roof and small-pane sashes. Early
C19 entrance doorway to left with fluted pilasters and enriched
Adam style entablature with pediment; oblong fanlight with
glazing bars; C20 glazed panelled door. A taller 2-storey block
to left; 2 windows wide, with hipped plaintiled roof. Probably
built as the kitchen wing, to rear, of the adjoining Grosvenor
