Pair of shops with dwellings above, formerly house known as
Grosvenor House. Early or mid C18. 2 storeys and attics; 3-
window range recessed between 2 narrow wings, 1 window wide Red
brick with parapet gables, the front elevation painted; a string
course at lst floor and at gables; dentil eaves at rear.
Plaintiled roofs with gable chimneys and flat-headed dormers, the
projecting wings hipped. Windows with flat arches of gauged
brick, large-pane C20 replacement sashes. Pair of 1-storey flat-
roofed shops added to front late C19 or early C20; each having
moulded wooden pilasters and cornice; surmounted by wrought iron
cresting with a frieze of trefoils.
