4/9 No. 76 and No.78 (Pedlars
- Patch)

Two houses, originally one. Late C16 or early C17 with alterations of C19. 2
storeys; 3-cell lobby-entrance plan with later 1-storey extensions to left.
Timber-framed and plastered. Pantiled roof with central and gable chimneys of
gault and red brick; pantiled gabled dormers at lower section to left. No. 76
has C19 horizontally-sliding and hinged casement windows. At no.78 are C19
small-pane sash windows with hinged boarded shutters; C19 4-panelled entrance
door. Some timber-framing exposed internally. Clasped purlin roof.
