TL 77 SE ICKLINGHAM THE STREET

House. C16 or C17 with alterations of C19. 2 storeys. 3-cell lobby-entrance
plan with later rear wing. Timber-framed and plastered. Thatched roof with
central and rear chimneys of gault brick. Mid C19 3-light casements with
small-panes (sash windows at 1st floor). C20 flush door in lobby-entrance
position. Some timber-framing exposed at left-hand end. The house was
originally of 1 storey with attics; the roof was raised to 2 full storeys, and
rear wing added C19. Included for group value.
