Farmhouse. Late C18 with alterations of mid C19 and c.1980. 2 storeys and
attics, 4 windows. Double-pile plan. Red brick with dentil eaves and parapet
gables. 2- span pantiled roof with axial chimney of red brick and small-pane
casement dormers with flat leaded roofs. Mid C19 sash windows in original
segmental-arched openings. Early C19 6-panelled entrance door recessed
between panelled reveals, with architrave and small oblong fanlight. Built
into an end wall is a small square limestone plaque with the raised motif
'N.E.C.', the initials of the New England Company, who owned the Eriswell Hall
Estate during the C18 and C19.
