- II

2 houses, formerly one. Early C18 with probable C16 or C17 core; alterations
of mid C19. 2 storeys, 3-cell lobby-entrance plan. Flint and brick rubble
with brick quoins, painted, with rendered parapet gables. Pantiled roof with
axial chimney of red brick. No.13 has C19 small-pane sash windows, No.11 has
C20 casements. C19 boarded and panelled entrance doors. Chamfered hood
moulds survive from the C18 windows, with traces of splayed reveals. A large
blocked axial chimney and some oak framing members probably indicate an
earlier core.
