12/41 Methodist Church
(Formerly listed as Wesleyan
7.5.54 Chapel)

Church. "Wesleyan Chapel, erected 1829, restored 1888" on tablet. 2 storeys,
3 windows. Gault brick, the left-hand bay is set slightly back and of narrow
bricks. Hipped slated roof. Sash windows with flat arches of painted gauged
brick, and small-pane sashes. Pair of 2-panelled entrance doors recessed
between panelled reveals and moulded architrave. Open Doric portico with flat
roof, moulded and modillioned cornice, supported at the front on 2 columns.
