2 shops with storerooms above. Early C16 with early C17 and early C19
alterations. 2 storeys with attics, 5 windows. Timber-framed, encased in C19
gault brick with parapet. Plaintiled roof with end chimneys of gault brick.
C19 small-pane sash windows with flat arches of gault brick at first floor.
Late C19 shop fronts with half-glazed panelled doors and slightly splayed
windows, each front having a drip-mould above the fascia. A central early C19
entrance doorway with moulded entablature on fluted pilasters; 6-panelled
entrance door recessed between panelled reveals; oblong fanlight with border
panes. The early C16 rear wing facing the churchyard formerly had a jettied
upper floor with a trailing-leaf carved bressumer, now concealed by plaster;
the gabled plaintiled C17 dormer has some moulded mullions, altered C18 with
leaded casements. A 1st floor room is fully panelled with early C17
