Right-hand part of doctor's surgery, office and cafe; probably formerly one
house. Late C16 with C19 alterations. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan. 2 storeys
and attics. Timber-framed and rendered, the upper floor jettied on chamfered
brackets. Plaintiled roof with segmental-headed C19 casement dormers and C17
or C18 axial chimney of gault brick. C19 horizontally sliding casements at 1st
floor, and splayed C19 and C20 bay windows at ground floor. No. 9 has a C19 6-
panelled entrance door, the other 2 doors are panelled and glazed. Good
clasped-purlin roof and areas of internally-exposed timber-framing.
