Built circa 1593 by Sir Thomas Eden, fine lofty building of 2 storeys,
attics and cellars, timber framed and plastered, roofs tiled. Front has
gables projecting on brackets, 4 2-storey bay windows, mullion transom.
The studs are exposed under all the upper bays. Lower bays have brick
under-building. Windows of the bays are varied - some 6 or 7 lights,
some blocked, some leaded panes. Interior features and panelling. NMR
