Late C16/C18, two storeys, timber framed and plastered, roofs tiled. Cellars. C18 facade roughcast and painted. Coved plaster eaves cornice. Three window range with modern sashes. South west end has large external C16/C17 stack with two octagonal shafts (heightened). Important position.

All the listed buildings on the north west side, The King's Head PH and The Transport Cafe, Bulmer Road form a group.
