C19/C20 front to old timber-framed building. 3 storey 5 windows including
central stone canted oriel through 1st and 2nd floors. White brick
with red dressings including pilasters and panels. Plaster cove cornice
with pediment above oriel. Slate roof. Ground floor modern shops.
Timber framing exposed in East wall to Black Boy courtyard.

Nos 1 to 6 (consec) and 8 to 22 (consec), Black Boy Hotel, and the Town
Hall form a group.
