Probably C17 in origin, but front altered late Cl8, 2 storeys
and attics (2 dormers), timber framed and plastered. Yellow brick
central chimney stack. Wood eaves cornice with pairs of modillions.
4 window range, sash with glazing bars. House and Shops.

Nos 1 to 6 (consec) and 8 to 22 (consec), Black Boy Hotel, and the Town
Hall form a group.
