C18/C19, three storey. Stucco, lined and painted. Two windows, two-light at second floor, third-light at first floor, recessed sash with pilasters to wood frame, slightly inset. Eaves cornice with coupled brackets. Slate roof. First floor enriched cornice (possibly former eaves level). Shops, ground floor with wood cases.

Nos 40 to 44 (consec) form a group.
