No 98 originally C17/C18, 2 storey, timber-framed and plastered, roofs
tiled, 2 windows. Rebuilt and incorporated with No 99, with range of
4 windows, one 3-light window on splayed corner, and 4 windows on return
in East Street, at lst floor, which is rendered and stained. Machine
tile roof, hipped at corner. Now a modern building in sympathy with
traditional design, sash windows with glazing bars and flush frames.
Modern shops at ground floor. Included for Group Value.

No 96, White Horse Hotel, Nos 98 and 99 with East House, East Street
form a group.
