A timber-framed and plastered building with C18 and early C19 external features, possibly with an earlier core. Two storeys. Five window range, mostly of double-hung sashes; some with glazing bars (one blocked). The ground storey of No 74 has a small oriel bay, probably a former small shop window and a central doorway with pilasters and modillion cornice. At the north end there is a cart entrance. Roof slate with a central
chimney stack with attached shafts (cement rendered).
