A timber-framed and plastered building probably of C17 origin but much altered in the C18 when the roof was raised. Two storeys and attics. The upper storey has 3 window range of double-hung sashes with single vertical glazing bars and the ground storey has a C19 former bay shop window on the south end and an C18 bay with glazing bars and moulded cornice on the north end. Twin central doorways. Roof tiled, double pitched with gables on the south side. A moulded wood modillion eaves cornice extends across the front at about 2 ft below the present eaves level.
