An early C19 brick fronted house (painted) with a return frontage on
Chapel Street (marked No 1 Chapel Street on the map). It has an older
core with exposed beams on the interior. Two storeys. Three window
range on the east front and 4 window range on the north front, double-hung
sashes with glazing bars in plain reveals with stuccoed flat arches.
The east front has a 6-panel door with a doorcase with panelled reveals,
pilasters and cornice. The roof to the block facing High Street is tiled
(old tiles) and the roof to the block facing Chapel Street is slate,
