A timber-framed and plastered building with cross wings at the north
and south ends. The south cross wing is of mediaeval origin and the
remainder of the building is of the C16-C17. Roof tiled, with a large
ridge chimney stack. The windows are mainly double-hung sashes with
glazing bars. The ground storey has a modern canopy extending between
the cross wings. The interior has heavy exposed ceiling beams and joists.
