Probably a C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered building with cross wings
at the east and west ends but refronted in the C19 in brick (painted).
Two storeys. 1:4:1 window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars.
A central doorway has plain pilasters and a cornice. The west wing has
3 window range of casements and a 6-panel door with architrave and moulded
cornice. There is a modern extension to the north with dormers. Roofs
tiled, with a dentilled brick eaves cornice on the front. The centre
block has a C17 chimney stack with grouped diagonal shafts and there
is another on the east wing. The west wing has a large ridge chimney
stack.
