Barn to the north-west
of Cross Green

A timber-framed and weather-boarded barn of 6 bays. Roofed with corrugated
iron. The wall plate has an edge-halved scarf joint which could be dated
to the C15 or early C16 (Ref C A Newett "Development of Carpentry 1200-1700").
