Christmas House
TL 9541 59/324
A C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered building, altered in the C18.
Two storeys. The front was probably originally jettied and was built
out in the C18. Three window range of double-hung sashes with glazing
bars. A central doorway has a flat hood on shaped brackets. Roof tiled,
hipped at the north and south ends. The interior has exposed timber-framing,
ceiling beams and joists. The chimney stack at the rear has C16 brick
work in the lower part.
