Listing Text

Redhouse Farmhouse
TM 04 NE 39/331 23.1.58
Approached by a farm road from Flowton Road. Originally a mediaeval
hall house altered and extended in the C16-C17 and with C18 fenestration.
A timber-framed and plastered building with a tiled roof and a ridge
chimney stack with 3 octagonal shafts with moulded caps and bases on
a rectangular base. There are also large external chimney stacks with
tabled offsets at the north-west and south-east ends. Two storeys.
Six window range of double-hung sashes with glazing bars. A modern gabled
porch projects on the front.
