Approached by a farm road from Whatfield Road. A C16-C17 timber-framed
and plastered building with C18 alterations. Renovated. The timber-framing
is exposed on the upper storey and the ground storey is faced in brick
(painted). Roof tiled, (modern), with a good ridge chimney stack with
4 octagonal shafts with moulded bases and caps on a square base. The
windows are mainly double-hung sashes with glazing bars. Two gabled
dormers on the front.
