Originally a C15-C16 timber-framed house but much altered and now faced
in red brick. There are cross wings at the north and south ends. Roof
tiled, with a large internal chimney stack. One storey and attics to
the centre block and 2 storeys to the cross wings. The windows are double-hung
sashes with vertical glazing bars. Two modern gabled dormers to the
centre block. Built out at the rear. The interior has a good crown
post roof.
