A late C18 red brick building with a slate roof, hipped, with a moulded
wood eaves cornice. Altered in the C19. The house stands back from
the street in its own grounds. Two storeys. Five window range of double-hung
sashes with single vertical glazing bars, in flush cased frames. A 2
storeyed splayed bay projects on the east side. A central 6 panel door
with fanlight has a wood doorcase with panelled reveals, architrave,
pulvinated frieze and pediment. The doorway is approached by a short
flight of steps.
