A C16 timber-framed and plastered building with a cross wing at the north-east
end jettied on the upper storey. Roof tiled. Renovated. Two storeys.
Three window range of modern casements with glazing bars. The ground
storey has 2 shallow splayed bays. The house is sometimes known as Chimney
House because of the large red brick external chimney stack with tabled
offsets on the north-east side. It has a passageway around it on the
ground storey and a single-storey lean-to addition with a tilled roof
extends across the north-east side. It has been restored and window
interior features were discovered during restoration.
