An early C15 hall house. Timber-framed and plastered with cross wings
at the north and south ends. Roof tiled. Two storeys and attics. The
upper storey of the south cross wing is jettied on the front. Four window
range of mainly casements. The south cross wing has double-hung sashes
with glazing bars. The whole of the ground storey of the main block
is built out with a C19 double shop front. The north window has glazing
bars. The interior has very fine heavy beams.
