A C16 timber-framed and plastered building, considerably restored and
modernised but retaining original features. On the south-east front
there is a fine 2 storeyed brick porch with an arched gable, stone framed
windows, with mullion and transom in the first storey window. Two storeys,
and attics. The upper storey is jettied on either side of the brick
porch on exposed joists and castellated bressumer. A large gable projects
on the front to the north-east of the porch. Bar and transom casement
windows with leaded lights. At the rear there are gabled wings. Roofs
tiled, with old external chimney stacks, one with 3 octagonal shafts.
There is also an old ridge chimney stack.
