Farmhouse. Probably early C17 altered early C19 and C20. Timber-framed, right
gable rebuilt in red brick, pebbledashed. Plain tile roof with several courses of
slates at eaves. Red brick stacks. Plan altered to central entrance and stair
hall. Half-glazed door in doorcase with consoles supporting hood. 16-pane sashes
in flush frames with sills. Unequal sashes to 1st floor. Large projecting offset
stack to left. Further stack to right. Later additions to rear. Interior,parts
of frame exposed including jowled posts, chamfered tie beam and some wall studding.
