House. 1704 (Pevsner) with earlier origins. Red brick in Flemish bond, plain tile
roof. Two storeys, attic and basement. 7-bay front arranged 2:3:2. Apparently
lobby-entry plan. Plinth with flat gauged brick arches to basement windows. Stone
steps to off-centre 6-panel door in pilastered pedimented doorcase. Renewed cross
casements with leaded lights under flat gauged brick arches. Wood modillion
cornice. Gabled dormer. Stacks to left and off-centre. Interior not inspected
but may well provide evidence of earlier work. Sulleys was one of three manors
of Raydon in Domesday.
