3/13 Doves Cottage

Cottage. Late C16. Timber-framed, rendered, plain tile roofs. T-plan, the front
of 2 cell lobby entrance plan, with wing to rear. 2 storeys. C19 timber casements
with horizontal bars, of 2 lights to left and 3 lights to right of door. Left hand
first floor 3-light metal casement, the outer lights leaded. Boarded door with
2 elaborate strap hinges. C20 porch. Brick stack, the shaft rebuilt late C17 or
early C18. Interior: very heavy chamfered beam and joists with bar stops. Stairs
in front of stack. No access to upper floor.
