TM 04 SE HINTLESHAM HADLEIGH ROAD
3/28 Park Farmhouse

Farmhouse. C16, early C17 and later. Timber framed, rendered, left hand return
and 1st bay of rear clad in painted brick, C20 tile roof. 3 cells, appearing as
lobby entrance, 2 storeys. C19 cross casements, 3 to ground floor, 4 to first floor,
mainly 3-lights, that to 2nd bay, over door, of 2-lights. C20 timber framed porch
with plank and muntin door. C19 axial brick stack with dentil course to base, and
two shafts set diagonally with oversailing caps. To rear the central bay is jettied
with a tall narrow small paned first floor window. Interior: jettied section has
blocked ground floor rear window. Left hand cell, part of the cornice to front
and back is roll moulded in 3 or 4 orders. The rest appears c1600. Chamfered main
beam. No access to upper floor.
