TM 04 NE HINTLESHAM PRIORY ROAD
1/32 Hintlesham Priory

Farmhouse. C16 or earlier, mid c19 and later. Originally timber framed, mostly
encased in or replaced in red brick. Plain tile roof. 3 cell plan. 2 storeys.
C19 facade. 2 storey canted bay with sashes. 3 ground floor 3-light cross case-
ments, 5 similar first floor windows. Early C19 6-panel door. C19 axial brick
stack; left hand gable, external stack, with moulded early brick plinth, both
stacks with C19 grouped polygonal shafts. Rear. 5-light brick mullion and transom
window with cavetto moulded mullions and moulded brick band above. First floor
early metal cross casement. Door of 6 raised and fielded panels, HL hinge. No
access to interior.
