Blacksmiths shop and smithy (formerly listed as Blacksmiths Shop and Smithy)

Smithy. Early C19. Red brick mostly Flemish bond, with English bond to rear,
plaintiled hipped roof. Stacks to left and right, respectively to front and rear
of ridge. Formerly one cell, now two, single storey. 2 boarded shuttered
windows one in part-blocked opening with segmental head. Small blocked opening.
Dentil eaves cornice. Left hand return, boarded stable door. Right hand return
lean-to travis or shoeing area. Interior. 2 forges, anvil and all equipment
intact. Spindly clasped purlin roof partly replaced after fire c20 years ago.
